The Handle Bar Café  - 28-32 St Michael's Street, Oxford OX1 2EB

I’ve wanted to visit this café for aaaages. I had seen photos on Instagram and checked the menu out before going (yes I’m one of those). The menu offers both vegan and non-vegan options which is always helpful for parties that are mixed. The food & coffee was delicious and staff were lovely. Put simply, a unique place to enjoy good food with friends.

Eden Café is located in the market town of Witney (just outside of Oxford). They serve breakfast, lunches, coffees and an amazing selection of cakes and treats. I had THE hardest decision of which cake to go for – life’s toughest choice right? I went for the raspberry and lemon cake which was SO good! The interior is slightly rustic, but I loved the friendly and chilled atmosphere here. OH and did I mention that 90% of the menu is vegan? I’ve tasted, and I’m hooked.

Walk through the cute and quaint streets of central Oxford and you’ll stumble across The Nosebag. Their dishes are home cooked, good quality and most importantly, tasty! Staff were welcoming and made me feel right at home. The ‘bombay potato + spinach pie’ MUST be mentioned, just WOW! And if that’s not enough… they have an amazing range of vegan treats and desserts. The atmosphere and interior is cosy and the perfect spot to hibernate on a cold day with a warm cuppa. Check it out…

Happy Friday Kitchen – 282 Cowley Rd, Oxford OX4 1UR

If you’re looking for ‘dirty’ vegan food, then look no further than Happy Friday Kitchen. I convinced my non-vegan friend to join me and she couldn’t get enough of the food. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Would highly recommend their mac ‘n’ cheese or any of their vegan burgers... need I say more? Give this place a visit if you’re ever in Oxford!

Lynwood & Co – 134 High Street, Burford OX18 4QU

This Cotswold chain of cafes specialises in locally sourced, home-made foods. The cafes are just as special as the towns & villages they are situated in. The Burford café has a simplistic feel to it and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Start with breakfast (I recommend the avo on toast) and go from there… you WON'T be able to resist!
