Monthly Round Up: December

Can anyone else believe that it is December already!? This year has flown by! As the year draws to a close, it can often be used as a time of reflection to look on the past year and what you have achieved. A year ago Onist was only just beginning and now, a year later, we have moved into our own production unit and office space, we have appeared at numerous festivals and events, have been stocked in huge retailers and our team has grown too. Looking forward to 2018 there are many more exciting announcements and adventures to come with some huge launches into national retailers in January, so make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter and follow us on social media to be the first to hear the news.

blog:

On the blog this month we have a new recipe for Christmas Spiced Sandwich Cookies. These little cookies are perfect for making to share with family and friends this christmas or for wrapping up and giving as stocking fillers or christmas party favours. We also have a new blog from Onist founder Mary about tackling over indulgence during the festive period. Let's be honest Christmas food is the best, and we have all been culprits of eating one too many mince pies or roast potatoes at Christmas, so have a read of Mary's article HERE and see her top tips on indulgence.

Charity news:

As many, hopefully most of you, will know Onist is built off a Buy One Give One model where for every choc pot you buy you are buying a healthy choc pot for children in need at Kunta Kinteh school in Gambia. The school is run by a charity which is a close family friend of Mary which gives us complete transparency, as we can see exactly where and how the money is spent and what breakfasts the children are receiving. It also means that we get regular updates on the children and the school and can see how this is directly helping the children. For more information on this and to see some videos on our #buyonegiveone mission follow this link to watch a video of when we visited the school in Gambia back in May.
